TAMSAN Water Separators are designed to remove liquid-phase water and entrained particles from compressed air at the early stages of the system.
Operating on the principle of centrifugal separation, condensate formed at the compressor outlet is separated by utilizing the density difference between air and liquid. The heavier liquid droplets are effectively removed, while finer moisture is carried downstream. Designed to operate with low pressure drop, the system ensures efficient separation without increasing energy consumption, helping reduce system load.
For the removal of finer contaminants remaining in the compressed air, water separators are typically used in combination with in-line filters as part of a complete filtration system.
